Angel Oil

Angel Oil is hemp oil and has been observed to help people with a variety of health conditions. 

Patients with autoimmune disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Tourette Syndrome, and Fibromyalgia have seen improvement with Angel Oil Standard.  Patients with conditions such as cancer, arthritis, hepatitis-C, nerve damage, muscle & joint pain, depression, anxiety, spasms, sleep disorders, and poor appetite have also found relief.

Why It Works

An Alternative to Smoking
For OMMP Patients

Angel Oil is a healthy alternative to smoking.  Patients taking Angel Oil usually smoke less.  Angel Oil is discreet and may be taken where smoking is unacceptable. 

Angel Oil does not produce the 'Marijuana High' that comes from smoking cannabis;  with proper dosage Angel Oil never impairs like smoking.  Normal activities such as working are much easier with Angel Oil.  Some patients use only Angel Oil; most patients reduce their smoking with Angel Oil

Angel Oil puts your body at-ease from your dis-ease.  Patients report that Angel Oil promotes more restful sleep; this increase in sleep quality seems to improve other symptoms.

About Angel Oil

Angel Oil Standard is cannabis relief without the impairment of cannabis because plant material that is rich in THC is excluded from the oil.  Fresh plant material is slowly simmered in Extra Virgin Olive Oil to release hemp sap.  The ‘Marijuana High’ is controlled by separating the flower buds, where THC is highly present,  from the Plant Material, where tests have found high amounts of Cannabinol CBD (a cannabinoid).  

We feel that Angel Oil contains many Cannabinoids that have not yet been fully studied or tested for their medicinal effects.  The full range of Cannabinoids may be the key to the effective medical use of Cannabis.

Dosage

The recommended doses are dosage levels that have worked for some of our current patients.  Individual needs may vary.

"Just Have A Cookie:"  For optimal benefit, use Angel Oil as a substitute for oil or butter in most baked goods.   Our recipes call for 1 teaspoon of Angel Oil per cookie.  Many patients prefer to split their cookies in half or quarters, eating one piece at a time so that the entire cookie is consumed over the course of a few hours. 

When cooking with Angel Oil use healthy recipes; avoid sugar and preservatives.  Angel Oil is tasty on salads, bread, and vegetables, though it can also be taken by itself.  We do not recommend using Angel Oil as a cooking oil because frying may destroy its medicinal properties.

When taken orally by the spoon or dropper, Angel Oil is most effective when it held under the tongue, allowing absorption through the mouth membranes.  (When taken in this manner, the effect is similar the feeling a patient may have if they smoked a small amount, an hour before.  The effect usually lasts about 2 to 3 hours.)

• Recommended Starting Dosage: 1/4 teaspoon 4 times per day. 

• Recommended Typical Dosage:  1/4 teaspoon 8 times per day, 1/2 teaspoon before bed, and 1/4-1/2 teaspoon during the night if sleep is disturbed.

Side Effects

Do not drive or operate equipment until you know how Angel Oil affects you.

Improper dosage seems to be the primary cause of side effects, when they occur.  Usually, patients who adjust their dosage levels are relieved of side effects.

• Until patients find their proper dosage level, which usually takes a couple of days, many experience sleepiness. 

• Existing allergies may flare up in response to the fresh plant material .

• Excessive consumption may affect the digestive system.  (Olive oil, the base for Angel Oil, is sometimes used to cleanse the digestive system.) 

• Excessive consumption of Angel Oil cookies may cause some temporary physical and/or mental impairment.  (The effect of Angel Oil is more subtle and lasts longer when it is baked into food.)
